In this Food Production & Services course students learn the knowledge, skills and practices required for careers in Food Production & Services. It prepares students to serve under the supervision of chefs and other food service professionals. It includes instruction in kitchen organization, sanitation and quality control, basic food preparation and cooking skills, kitchen and kitchen equipment maintenance and quantity food measurement and monitoring. The National Restaurant Association ProStart curriculum is used.
